Texas Trophy Hunters Association™ Drives the Bullet Home By Continued Partnership with Barnes Bullets

San Antonio, Texas – Texas Trophy Hunters Association (TTHA) is proud to announce its continued partnership with Barnes Bullets. Barnes Bullets® are the standard in the industry of unwavering quality ammunition and “the best choice for the discriminating hunter.”   Since the 1930’s Barnes Bullets has led the industry in bullet technology and innovation. With the mid-2010 introduction of Barnes® VOR-TX™ Ammunition in fifteen cartridge/bullet weight combinations, they continue to move forward aggressively with even more VOR-TX standard line additions in 2011 including new handgun and safari ammunition lines. Expanding the component offerings as well as introducing the new Match Burners™ and LRX™ (Long-Range X) lines, Barnes® continues to stand firm on a central focus to provide customers with top quality, performance based products that give shooters a decided advantage. There is no room for compromise when it comes to customer satisfaction, and Barnes strives for customers to have experiences of a lifetime with Barnes products that are optimized for your target.   TTHA has worked with Barnes Bullets to provide educational DVDs to members and hunters across the state of Texas and beyond. “You simply won’t find a bullet that performs better in the field than Barnes Bullets. Our members, readers and viewers love that fact that Barnes has now introduced their VOR-TX Ammunition.   This provides an opportunity to use their premium product even if you are not a hand loader. TTHA is excited about continuing the partnership with Barnes and we’re thrilled to have them as part of the TTHA family,” states Hal Gahm, Vice President, Sales, TTHA.   Barnes Bullets was originally founded in 1932 by Fred Barnes who began selling bullets made in his basement workshop in Bayfield, Colorado. The company was purchased in 1974 by Randy and Coni Brooks who began producing copper-tube-jacketed lead core bullets in American Fork, Utah. Randy Brooks revolutionized the industry in 1985 by conceiving the idea of an expanding, solid copper bullet while hunting brown bears in Alaska. A hollow nose cavity that expands into four sharp copper X-shaped petals on impact with game gives the X Bullet® its name. Since then, Barnes Bullets has continuously impressed hunters and shooters in the field, in world competitions and everywhere in between.   For additional information regarding Barnes Bullets, please visit their website at http://www.barnesbullets.com/ or call them toll free at (800) 574-9200.   ###     TTHA strives to unite all segments of the hunting community for the dissemination of information and joining of energies to promote and protect our hunting heritage.
