Former Maryland DNR Official Opposes Wounded Warrior Hunts

In a recent letter to the editor of the Baltimore Sun, E. Joseph Lamp—a former member of Maryland’s Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Advisory Commission—openly criticized efforts to rehabilitate wounded veterans through hunting. According to Lamp, “…how can soldiers returning with PTSD, lost limbs, lost confidence and lost buddies heal their own physical and psychological wounds by inflicting pain and suffering on defenseless animals?” Blogger J.R.
