CONCEALED CARRY RECIPROCITY ACT GAINS STEAM

The Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act has been introduced in both chambers of Congress. If passed, this act would permit licensed handgun holders to carry concealed firearms across state lines. According to Larry Keane, representing the National Shooting Sports Foundation, “The Second Amendment doesn’t end at the border of your state.” Keane believes that this legislation would strengthen the rights of law-abiding citizens to protect themselves when they’re away from home. In the Senate, the concealed-carry bill is primarily sponsored by Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.), while in the House, Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-Ind.) leads the effort.
