Cabela’s Prepares to Celebrate Archery Classic

Cabela’s  plans to celebrate Cabela’s Archery Classic with guest appearances, seminars, family activities, sponsor exhibits and more at its Buda location, July 24 to August 3.
The celebration begins July 26 and 27 with:
•    A Youth Archery Fun Shoot led by Travis County 4H Club from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days
•    A 3-D Target Competition with top score winning a $25 Cabela’s gift card from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday
•    A Mounted Archery Demonstration by Trey Schlichting of New Braunfels, TX at noon on Saturday.

There will also be free educational seminars all weekend long including Bow Shot Placement, Complete Archery Workshop for Women, Backwater Bowfishing, and many more. Booths from partner organizations and vendors will be set-up throughout the store all weekend including Jim Miller, TV Host of TexMex Outdoors; Ron Carmichael, USA Archery High Performance Coach; and representatives from Bastrop County Bowhunters.

Customers 18 years and older also will have a chance to win a Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures archery hunt in Kentucky during the whitetail rut of 2015. Additionally, the lucky winner – and a guest of choice – will each receive a $1,000 Cabela’s shopping spree as part of the prize package.
