California Fish & Wildlife Cancels Predator-Hunting Clinic

Giving in to protests from anti-hunting groups and individuals, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife has cancelled one of its two planned predator-hunting clinics, aimed at teaching hunters "proper types of firearms and ammunition … predator hunting strategies and habitats of predators," according to the department website. Other topics include predator-calling, decoys, blinds and ethics.—courtesy Sacramento Bee
