Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has rejected a DNR request for a four-day October antlerless deer hunt in the state's CWD zone, saying he wants to adhere to recommendations made by researcher James Kroll. "On the heels of the Kroll report, legislators and hunters have made it clear they want Wisconsin to return to a more traditional season, which includes the nine-day November gun deer hunt," Walker said.—courtesy Captial Times
