Stay true to your school and join your favorite College Chapter of Texas Trophy Hunters Association. In addition to the great member benefits, you will also receive a College Chapter Decal.
The underlying purpose for the formalization and establishment of Texas Trophy Hunters Association TTHA College Chapters is to enable TTHA, as a company, to make a positive impact on local communities statewide.
Our focus is on improving the overall image of hunting, and the men and women who share the sporting heritage, by way of community outreach programs, using a passion for hunting as the tie that binds students together and empowers them with the chance to make a difference in their community.
Student members and Chapter officers become involved in a variety of fun and educational projects, and these functions are a large reason why students choose to become members of our College Chapters. TTHA College Chapters have hosted a variety of events, which include: skeet shoots, monthly meetings, golf tournaments, barbeque and chili cook-offs, toy drives, and annual fall banquets.
Since 2001, TTHA has benefited various charity organizations through their network of College Chapters. Organizations that have received financial contributions from TTHA College Chapters include: 4-H/FFA Shooting Sports, American Red Cross, Operation Orphans, Jerry Johnston Endowed Scholarship, Brazos Valley Outdoor Youth Association, Still Creek Boys and Girls Ranch, Ducks Unlimited, and Coastal Conservation Association.
Through TTHA College Chapters, over half a dozen young hunters have been given the chance of a lifetime to return to the woods after catastrophic injuries or diagnosis of serious or terminal diseases. The list of recipients includes children with severe burn trauma, cancer, paralysis, cerebral palsy, and other physical disadvantages.
